Receiver won’t connect for first setup on HPI E10

I just got the E10 drift fail GTR but the receiver won’t connect. I’m following the steps in the manual but I’m new to FPI systems and can’t link to the car.

Yes battery is full. New batteries in receiver also.

When you bind it, how close are you to the car with the transmitter.
I have a stubborn one that won't bind unless I stand at least 5 feet away.

I don’t know the process of binding for this brand and the manual doesn’t cover that. Or I missed that part

With that being said then, I would guess that would be the issue. Figure out how to bind it and I'm guessing that would fix the problem.

find correct process to bind radio to rx.. how do you have new batteries in receiver when its powered by esc /bec? puzzling
