RC Driving Style
A couple weeks ago i was bashing my savage nad all of a sudden i lost all power to my servos.i checked everything out and couldnt find anything so i turned my remote and receiver back on and it was going nuts so i tried another remote and still tweakes.i went ahead and replaced the receiver and that worked fine till today.now its right back where it started...tweakin..is it possible that the crystals are bad?? thanks for the help:help:
 
It could be bad crystals. It could be simply that your batteries are too weak. Have you tried replacing them or recharging them if they are rechargeables? Another possibility is loose metal to metal contact. When loose metal vibrates (for example when the engine is running), it generates an EM field that can easily interfere with your electronics. Does this behavior only occur when the engine is running...or is it something that happens even if the engine is off?
 
If you are checking this out while inside your house, you are also going to get interference from every electrical device in the house.

The only thing I can think of is make certain you have new batteries. Make certain that all plugs are securely in place (servos to receiver). Turn on the transmitter and then turn on the receiver. If this behavior is still going on, then you may have a wiring issue or a compatibility issue (ie servos not compatible with your receiver).

Can't think of much else you can try.
 
i did check everything outside and the batteries are freshly charged.and all the servos and radio equip. is stock HPI that comes with the 25 and I've been running this truck for about 3 months
 
That leaves the crystals. Try a new set of crystals.

Its proably alittle late but myne was doing the same thing over at MC's house, I got it home and it wasent doing it so you might be getting interferance from something.
 
Well this morning i popped in some new crystals and poof..I'm back to bashing again:dance: thanks again for all the help!!!!!
