What can you do to protect your receiver antenna wire besides it being in the tube. I was driven my XL last week on the road I flipped it and the receiver antenna got ripped off. Has anybody else had this happen or was this just a freak accident?

Nice I never thought of that lol (which sucks on my end cause I just bought a new HPI 2.4 controller lol)

I have the excess wire wrapped around the tube and then the whole thing protected in a length of shrink wrap.

Seems to protect it nicely. But yep, 2.4 radio is in my future too!:D

you can route the antenna out the back glass of the body instead of the top. this way it doesn't get bent and cut in a crash.
