Hi ,
I have a Kyosho ST-RR , which i want to use Cody King's base set up for this truck that i have found a base set up sheet on Cody King web site. On that sheet ( http://www.codykingrc.com/category/st-rr/ ) it was written 123mm rebound for front suspensions. I changed the oil and made the rebound 123mm on the front suspensions and than put the blue springs . But after putting the blue springs , the length of the suspensions from top the bottom become 129 mm but according to the set up sheet it must be 123mm so that i change the droop screw adjustment and make the length of the suspension 123mm after attaching to the truck. The question is that am i doing the right set up for the suspension rebound.

I will be glad if you can answer.

I set my rebound by pulling the shock shaft out to make the shock the desired length, in your case 123mm and tighten the cap after i have put the desired oil in them, make sure theres no air in the shock oil before you tighten the cap down. someone may do it different, i always run my trucks with 0 rebound.

I did like that but at the set up sheet it seems like , it must 123mm after putting the spring and attached to the truck but mine becomes 129 mm after puting the spring. Am i mistaken reading the set up sheet.

I read it as 117mm in the front in the link. And yes, if you have droop screws that is where you would make the final adjustment.

Sorry , you are right , my mistake i am talking about the rear but have written front.

i have to do rebound setup without springs according to the setup sheet than after putting the springs and attaching the suspension to the truck , can make the final adjustment by changing the droop screw . In my situation it is 129 mm after attaching to the truck , by changing the droop screws i made the suspension length to 123mm and is this the right method for adjusting the rebound of the suspension?
