Last night after a long bashing session the rear end on my 2wd Slash starting making a clicking noise like something is skipping? I pulled the spur gear cover off and it's not that, almost like it's coming from the gear box/or rearend? Any ideas?

hey it could be that titan 12 motor, they can make some pretty funky noises right when they are about to throw a brush.

check all three gears once you get it apart...if the bearings are weak on the idler gear (middle one) it will cause it to slip under load and get the gears all over again. put silicon grease back in the diff being you will have it apart anyways
