What are the advantages/disadvantages of a rear break? I do not race, so is this necessary for a basher like myself?

If you don't have a center diff and your just a basher, then it probably isn't worth the hassle. Although, for me, stock brakes stunk and I upgraded to a servo with 140oz of torque. Then it would stop.

The front/rear brakes work with a center diff to allow you to tune how the truck reacts to brakes when cornering.
