I've just read this thread but posted one roughly on the same thing.
Rolex you seem to agree with me on the four.

That's way too much of an opening to provide proper back pressure, especially when you consider there are TWO of these double pipes.

Just throwin this out there bit I just saw that pic and it gave me an idea. Dustin, once you get the right backpressure hole size, you could thread the inside of all the stingers and make some type of aluminum gaurd with the proper sized hole. That would provide proper backpressure and protect the pipe. Just an idea though, I hope that pipe works out for all of you.

I'm not sure the JB Weld will work, it usally deteriorates with higher temps. I've used it successfully on a lot of things, but never could get it to hold on a 1:1 car exhaust.
I actually like Flandersander's idea although I don't see how it would offer any protection. That would be easy for me to do, anyone have one of these pipes to sell me cheap? =devil

yeah I just kind of thought about it a little more and yeah there would be no protection. You would probably need some type of high temp o ring to make a tight seal. But that would be cool.

what is a good material to use to clog the pipes that would hold and be able to with stand a drill bit to bore holes back out.
if JB weld is not recommended for high temp, but will the exhaust get hot enough to break down jb weld.
