Does anyone know if the RD starter box can be run on anything but a gel cell? Can it be adapted to run off a couple stick packs? TIA
 
Yes. Any starter box can be adapted to run off 2 stick packs.
 
Thanks, I figured it could but thought maybe there was fit issues with two stick packs inside the box with all the other gear inside. Now they just have to get some in.
 
Jetmech if you do get this, Would be you be interested in doing a review on it?
 
Sure, I'm on the BO list, so not sure when I will be getting it. I think they are expecting the motors around the 29th (March). Didn't realize they now come in black as well as the original blue.
 
I Have mine in UK

Youll fit 2 sticks in there no problems m8 I run mine of a 12v car battery from the charge jacks in the front and let me tell you they are GREAT in fact you could not buy mine from me EVER!
 
Thanks, I was going to order it one way or the other just thought since I have a bunch of stick packs I'd use those. Can't wait now! Where are you in England? I go to London sometimes, though the trips haven't been as frequent lately. Usually fly into Luton.
