RCX is this weekend in Pomona CA. RC Solutions will be there for the first time in several years, with a bunch of new stuff for HPI Baja, Axial Scorpion, E-Revo, etc. I can't make it due to prepping and testing my 1:1 offroad truck for a race the following weekend, but Rob and Del will be there. Stop by and say hi! Also ask them why RCS still doesn't have a decent sticker after 6 years in business!

Cool.

I look forward to checking out what you guys have up your sleeves.

I will be down there for setup on Fri and of course both days of the show with Team FastEddy at the TGN booth.

Hey everyone, I heard from my rc solutions peeps that our entrepid rcnt leader Fast Eddy got hurt today at the show. Apparently he was concentrating on driving his car, when someone else lost control of a baja-5 over a jump and nailed eddy in the head. He was taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Hopefully we will hear from robmob and jon2 on his condition. I seriously hope he's ok, because the situation will be much funnier if he is.

Scott,

Are you freaking kidding me???

OMG this guy was the worst luck when it comes to RC outtings... last ECB he was caught on fire. The time I went out to Cali he almost got us killed by trying to pass a truck going up a mountain with an on coming semi with seconds to spare!! :)

Just got off the phone with Eddy. Good news and not so good news...

Good news - Eddy is fine, well as fine as he has always been. The Baja did not hit him.

Bad news - Robmob has seen better days... he was the person whom got hit with the Baja. Badger from RCCrawler was running his baja when it hit robmob in the back shoving him into a chainlink fence. Robmob wasn't taken off on a stretcher but does have a number of staples near the hair line. He walked off on his own and within a few hours was back at RCX.

Get well robmob!

Get well Rob!!!! that sucks!

Sorry for the misinformation. Del said he saw a guy on a stretcher with blood all over, and though it was Ed.

Rob did say he was wearing a Team Fast Eddy shirt - that might be where people thought it was Eddy.

The stretcher part... I bet he had to go out on one but trying to play it tough and say he didn't. ;)

Get Well Soon Rob! Thankfully I have never been hit real hard by an RC, especially of that size. I was hit by an 1/8 scale buggy while mashalling... that hurt... but I can't even imagine getting hit with a 1/5 scale...especially in the head! I hope you have a speedy recovery my friend.

Tom

No need to show any pity, Its just a flesh wound....... or two :D

All kidding aside.
Hes just fine. Hes feeling it a bit more today then he did yesterday.
It could have been much worse then it was so we are all counting our lucky stars.
It was purely an accident, no one to blame. Badger feels real bad and beside himself.

Get well soon Rob.

It's just a flesh wound!

Only lost a few pints of blood.

It's all good.

Thanks for the well wishes and special thanks to Ed for taking me to the hospital and waiting there until I was released. A true friend indeed.

Oh, the !#$@ing staples going in hurt more than anything else.

I should also be clear that the 5T hit me in the back and the impact shoved me into a chain link fence. The fence is what caused the lacerations.
