Ascent18 Willy Style.
Ok right away I had some 1.3 tires, stock just didn’t cut it for me, and I am putting on 1.0 tires just to compare to the scx24, will it out perform?
I have just recently put on a JoRcs v3 lcg chassis, from etsy, and as I am posting this, I am painting the stock body. Almost got ahead of myself before doing this thread. They seem pretty equal on the backyard rocks at the moment, but those portals will probably give a disadvantage a little on the big rocks. Soon as I think it’s ready. It will be going against scx24, Rippin Willy, just because it is a light body like Ascent18.

First attempt at a styrene headache bar!!!
Need some experience with this stuff, this one is a little rough but fits the body style, so leaving it on.

Update on the ascent18 put the 1.3s back on and boy she is heavy now.

Love the build man. I have an 18 myself with 1.3 injoras. Love it. I need to do a build thread on it. I've upgraded electronics, wheels and tires, brass portals,skid etc. next upgrade is underdrive/overdrive gears

Sweetand thanks, I need to do the same. I got the brushless in, now on to gears.
