I know this is a really old post, found it through a search engine but I wanted to bring it back up since it could be so useful. Thank you SDMAXX for the screw inventory!
I brought a set of extractors for phillips screws at Sears. They mount up in an electric screw driver and "bite" into the screw as you run them in reverse. I used them on phillips and hex socket screws. It is quick and easy. Set cost me about $20 but I never have any problems pulling stripped screws.
Dont get screwed on screws......lol
Mcmaster carr dosnt have a wait for those who said it does.........all orders are shipped overnight to us. I spends tons of money with them and always get good product.
You only get what u pay for with screws, bearings and any hardware for that matter.
Stay away from these cheap china deals........bearings and screws look the same.......but there not!!!!
I may order in a pile of bearings and hardware sometime in the future. I would now but just dont know what the common sizes would be?
Wait so I dont understand, if I wanted a screw set, which I do, from whom and where should I buy them from, I wont be able to make a list of individual parts, here are my cars:

I will choose customer service and item quality over price ever time.Real value = service + price + quality.I used a set of HEX HEADS BY HEX SCREWS www.hexscrews.com and I thought they were nice but I am a newb so I don't have much to compare too.The HEX SCREWS was a more complete kit than the Full Force although niether gave you any button head screws.
The HEX SCREWS also come in a special corrosion resistant coated version, with more strength than stainless. I should have got these because I like to use the power washer on the trucks after a day of mudding.
Keep us posted on the customer service from RC Screws.
HexSCREWS stated on website that all button head screws were replaced with cap crews because of increased stregth and holding power of the cap screws(don't strip as easily either).
If you take a look at the date of my original post you will see that its close to 5 years old now. Many things can change in that amount of time and HAVE changed.
When the original post was made, i was extremely unhappy with the product, hands down it SUCKED. At that time they were a new company just trying to figure things out. At first they were all about trying to put out a cheap product and did exactly that.Being a smart business owner they listened to their customers and improved their products and increased their product lines.
I recieved an e-mail several months later asking me to try a new set of screws. They were a vast improvement over the first set I got. A few months later I ordered in a set for another RC and was extremely happy with them. The rest is history.
I am now one of the leading independent distributors of the product. I have in stock and ready to ship over 1500 screw kits. We are also building up our stock on bearing kits to match the line of screw kit so the RC user like you can get everything in one place.
As far as a cap screw being stronger then a button head, there may be some truth to that. Depending on the quality of metals and alloys being used Yes this could be true. We have found that using a good quality screw and just as important, a good quality driver that a button head will be just fine.

after getting burned by several different screw kit manufacturers with there shiny stainless steel screw kits I had a fellow R/C'r at the track loan me a few screws to hold my savage together for the main although they didn't look all that impressive they did the job and didn't strip out on me after repeatedly taking them in and out over the next few weeks. Eventually I asked him where he got the screws and he gave me the website www.hexscrews.com since then these are all I use on all my R/C's after 4 years I think I managed to strip out all of two screws. I like the quality of there kits and they are usually very through only the really specialty screws don't make it in their kits.
I tell everyone about these quality screws they may not be purty but they work and don't bend like some of the cheaper ones out there.
As for the cap head being stronger then the button head they most deffinitly are stronger you can really torque down on them and not worry about them stripping out as easily as a button head. with the button heads you have to be more careful about holding the allen wrench in line with the screw since you have less surface area for the wrench to make contact with. As for holding power they are about the same. I'm no expert on the matter but I did stay in a holiday in
