Tri State "Dash & Bash!"

Sunday, May 23rd
The day starts at 8AM but races shouldn't start till at least 10. Still have to lay out the track and practice.

Ok guys, it's official. Queens Untied R/C will host a bash fortose of you here at RCNT. There's lots of food and most of all a great crowd to run with. Contact me via I'm or Markanda via EMAIL .

So far those attending are Team17, Robriguez, Ratzo RC and Fridge. If you need directions to get there please contact us and we'll try not to get you too lost :ahh: . Fridge, if you need to get picked up and brought back to the train station, either I or someone else will do it. But it will most probably be me, not a big deal.

This is open to all of you and friends. Just make sure to check frequencies and be prepared to have a good time!

-Diver

BTW, HERE is a link to some video's of what the lot looks like. There will be a track set up that day, just as every sunday there's a track with cones, firehose and pvc (sometimes).

Yup, got lots of lap coutners ... those not running! Actually, an AMB lapcounter system is in the works but for now it's counted by those not running.

I would like to attend w/ my T-Maxx. Currently using AM 27.195MHz. I hope that won't interfere with anyone else. I will see about getting a couple of other crystals just in case. I will be coming from Yonkers, just tell me where the park is located and I should find it.

This bash is basically for Onroad only? I may just come down to meet a few people & check it out... I'lll get back to you...

You're more than welcome to attend, let me know what highway is closest to you and which bridge you like to take, I'm assuming triboro ... correct? PM me and I'll give you directions. And to keep from getting yelled at, ask for a frequency check. The park is located on the corner of Francis Lewis Blvd and Union Tpke. We are in Lot 3. Entrance to that lot is on Francis Lewis Blvd. PM me and I'll get more info to ya.

Most of the racing is onroad but lots of people bring buggies and savages since we have grass, a wooded area AND a great big sand pile and mulch/compost mound from all the leaves dumped there. Bring your r/c JUST IN CASE. It never hurt anyone.

I'm on FM Synth so its not an issue. I'm going to try to get the LD3 running again, If so I'll be bringing the MP7.5, Savage, and LD3. Oh and a set of skatboard ramps so we can launch some of these things in the air.

question!
how will we know who from rcnt when we get there. also diver pm me about how to cantact you once I'm out there and need a ride to the park. guys I'm running 75.55 FM DONT GET IN MY WAY ill kill you!

Introduce yourself! We don't bite. Look for either me (I'll be in the black Tahoe with the diver flag sticker on the rear bumper) or Mark (Red Z28). I'll PM you my cell #.

My MTX-3 runs on FM syn. so no problem there. Diver I'll PM u with my cell#.

Just got back from the LHS. The owner of Nagengast hobbies, is going to sponsor a little "prize" for the winner of the days events. Since there's a lot of buggies and so forth, we will have an offroad track on grass with jumps ... so on and so forth. An onroad will also be set up. I don't know what the prize will be, but it will be good. We will be taking over the lot and close it off for this event sponsored by Nagengast Hobby shop.

PLEASE PM ME if you are attending. I need to give you some important information.

We are there starting 8am but laying out the track and practicing takes a while so everything should start around 10am.

What fuel do you use? I'll kick some fuel your way. I understand you not wanting to bring it in your bag. BTW, I use Trinity Monster HP 20%. That's what most of us use out here. As far as your tuning probs, no prob ... we'll get her running well.

Hey Buncrana, you have tunning issues too, right? Well take care of ya too.
