MW you bastard!!! I will show you to derail my thread!!! Back in your cage!!!

LMAO! Opinions is what I wanted to vent. I agree with everyone here. I am just thinking they decided to do a shootout comparing the two Original MT's: The Tmaxx and the Savage. They should have done it with the Revo 3.3 . I would have seen it in a different light since I think it is more of an even comparison. I love both the Savage and Revo 3.3 I have. I think that They do shooutouts that are not even or what should be done. Like the Buggy shootout on XRC. That was a great review.Lots to compare because they used comparable rides.

HEY RCCA!!! Lets compare the new XXXT Brushless and the Jato 3.3 !! That would be worth something. ELectric brushless vs High output Nitro!! Get a freaking clue!

Even if it only takes four screws to drop a mill out of a Savage, that's still twice as many than it takes to drop a mill out of a Revo, so THERE!

Oh, and Plaid is a tool.

I am not worried about the wrenching that much. Its the lame factors that make it win.... Top speed and wheelie factor.

Lets add the HPI wheelie bar to the Savage and add a Handle to hold onto the Maxx. Now both got something.

Which one is better? For the wheelie factor its cool about the first three times MAX. After that it is just lame. Would you want to wheelie your ride all day or jump it? JUMP IT!!! Heck ya! Durability? I don't know anymore.

My ONLY thing that the Maxx has that I want are Hex screws.

Okay yes getting the mill out is easy but putting those lock washers back on the one bolt just seems like a moron designed that....sometimes they slide right in and sometimes they fight you and piss you off......do you guys use em?
and if not does your mill get loose easily?

They should have a "run into a friggin tree or curb" test.
I'd like to see who walks away with that title.
I had a Maxx with a ton of upgrades, and it still sucked.
Savage is the most durable out of the box, but the MGT is my "best pick".

If it wasn't for the dumbass wheelie bar on the 3.3 Maxx, they would have never even has wheelies as part of the testing. They only pick tests that they are sure the Maxx will win. Hetmanski has special knee pads just for traxxas.

I'd have to agree with ratzo, properly setup the mgt is a strong truck that is very capable at the track. I have a hard time keeping up with my father's sh .28 mgt with my 3.3 revo. If I had to do it again I would go with the mgt!

No, I aced those lock washers awhile back and just use a couple drops of lock tight on them. I know what you mean about getting them through those holes though, but after awhile, I've gotten used to it.

There's got to be a perfectlly clear explanation for this,I think. Honestlly,I'm pretty sure that article was based for newbie's,i remeber when i was a noob, wheeling a truck was the coolest thing in the world, still is kinda.but hey, traxxas has to get action somewhere.

Well... if wheelies are what sells, they should advertise the mad force more. That's all it does! Bounces all to hell when driving (or so I've seen in vids), but wheelies all day long.

I think it's tough to compare the maxx to the savage or the revo to the savage. Neither the maxx or revo are BB trucks. Both have 1/10 scale everything (except the new spur pitch).

The only things they should be comparing to the savage are the Mammoth, MGT and LST. All 1/8 scale w/ 1/8 scale engines/drive trains. All without center diffs.

The only things the maxx or revo compare to are each other and the TNX. All 1/10 scale MT's w/ 1/10 scale engines/drive trains.

Just my .02.

thats right......only 4 screws to take the engine out of the savy....even on the older one......

OK, I'm not arguing that it only takes 4 screws to get the engine out. My point is, on mine, I need to remove a lot of other things to GET TO THOSE FOUR SCREWS.

Well why didn't you say that earlier!!! lol j/k man I see what you are saying. The thing I hate about pulling a mill out of a savage is getting mesh right again.

I know, I need to take a few pictures to explain my situation. Sounds like I have something installed incorrectly and yes, I agree, getting the mesh back is a pain!

LMAO. MW I am considering the X conversion if my Savvy doesn't sell.

lol, I love how worked up many of you get because a magazine said one truck is better than the other. I agree, it is quit dumb that the Maxx made off with the win because it "wheelies better", but come on, they're just toys.lol, I'm gonna miss this site.

Yeah where are ya goin?

I'm moving out of my parent's home. I don't run my RC's anymore so I'm selling all of it on Ebay in a couple of weeks. Also, where I'm moving we wont have a computer. Besides, I don't come on here much at all anymore. It was very fun though.
