RC Driving Style
Hello Guys, I need some input cause am planning to buy a truggy to be used in racing competition in our local track. Its either RC8t CE or Mugen MBX6tr. Thanks in advance.

I drive the buggy version of the Mugen truggy and absolutely LOVE it. I'm in the market for another truggy soon and will be getting a Serpent (simply because I like trying different makes) but it's been a hard decision because Mugen is as good as it gets IMO. I've had ZERO problems with my buggy. It is 100% stock (save for a DE racing bump skid).

I have a good friend who drives the RC8T and while I've never driven it I've seen it a lot and it's pretty mean as well. I know he was having problems ejecting pins in his driveshaft but he got the Tekno ones with the snap ring I believe that solved it. It also comes with a JConcepts body and wing (or it used to), which is nice.

Some people have broken a-arms on the Mugen truggy...it's not wide-spread (I know guys who have raced one for seasons and have not broken one) but it's happened...

My friend told me he wanted to get the Mugen but doesn't like PBS (for maintenance reasons) so, keep that in mind--however it's not been a hassle at all. I don't have a preference (PBS or C-Hub) but I'm going on 3 gallons and my Mugen has not developed any slop. You won't go wrong with either one but I can certainly recommend Mugen without any hesitation. ;-)

With that....hot off the presses (as in today)
