i have a rc10gt and i got and os cv .15 motor in it.
what stronger or powerful motor can i put in it that will give me the speed on the track as well as drag racing

The OS CVR .18 would be what you want. Short crank shaft version with the rotary carb, and it'll be a direct drop-in.

I can only help you with the drag racing part... The power i have is not even close to manageable on the dirt, let alone a track. Although, it is ok with some paddles on the dirt! :hehe:

I hear the OS .18 engines are pretty slick, and there are many good reviews along with it. What is your budget? What kind of upgrades do you have as of now? Speed equals more breakage. It would be smart to upgrade things such as gears and driveline components (if you haven't already) before the upgrade. Believe me, it saves a lot of headaches.

i third the o.s .18 cv-rx. its a beast on that little truck, plenty of power, wheelies galor, and easy to tune!! i have ran this mill for awhile on this truck and i am more then happy with it. i refer to it as my "rocketsled" or "stupidfast" and close to undriveable, but now if your wanting to race it may be to much, and if you want to race pro i think they limit the mills to .12s

It depends on the track and the class. The tracks I used to run at ran up to .15 in the "sportsman" class (also known as novice), and limited the upper tiers to .12's.
