i have an rc10 gt and i can't make it handle right.
Can someone give me some setup tips for shocks and shock placements?

what is it doing ? Well on my GT i put 35 wt oil in front and 45 in rear. I also swoped the springs from front to back sence silver is a harder spring than green. i also whent with the unobtanium shock shafts. NOW FOR THE PLACEMENT OF THE SHOCKS TO THE TOWER THIS IS SOMTHING ALL ON ITS OWN. uNLESS YOU RACE I WOULD LEAVE IT FACTORY SETTING IF YOU DO RACE YOU HAVE TO AGDUST FOR TRACK CONDITIONS.

Cruzer,
What are you doing with the truck?
Racing? bashing?

Look here for some Assocated sponsered drivers set ups
http://www.teamassociated.com/racerhub/setup/0setups_offroad.htm#RC10GT

a737mech,
Font and rear springs are different lengths, you ought to get a set of front and rear spings to play with different set ups
45wt. oil sounds a little stiff for racing but for just bashing it would be good.

Most pros go with about 35wt. fnt /30wt. rear oil depending on which shock piston they use.

Cya at the track?

I know, but bing new to racing after 15 years I do not have all the necessary equipment to do the job just right. so i did what i had to do to make it work. it is just the way i like it right know. and i do plan on racing. Still working with car settup and all. I must say"i am vary happy so for with the performance of the GT.

I stoped buy there today, I wasn't able to get there early enough to race. I didn't see many STs
I went up and raced at Hot Rods in Saugus
It was a slow day at both tracks for Nitro STs

You find a lot more Statium Truck guys to help you at Hot Rods Although one of the best local guys that is sponsered by Associated was at KZ today running his GS buggy.

Bring it up to Hot Rods Tuesday night, Racing starts at 7:00. Come early and have some of the local pros help ya out

Cya
