So last week i destroyed the slip-on hub that goes on the back side of my slipper and fits over the input shaft of the tranny. I THINK this happened because the pin that fits through the input shaft and holds the hub and slipper plate in place is just a hair too short and only securely grabs one side of the detent.. the other side looks like it's not quite long enough to reach out to the brake hub.

I'm not positive this is the issue, but I'd like to replace that pin before having to wait another 10 days for a shipment from rcboyz.

So my question is.... is this a likely issue and how have you guys solved it?

Thanks.

If it's the pin that is the problem (not quite sure... the post was a little confusing) then you could cut off a piece of a throw-away allen key. The allen keys are usually hardened steel and should do for a replacement pin until a better one can be had.
