RC-solutions skid plates?

I would say yes. Mine has held up great.

I had them on my t-maxx when I ran it. For extra protection against really hard nosed landings, I put a rubber grommet behind it to help absorb the impact.

They do spring back, and I'd buy a set for my savage in a heartbeat if they would make them... I asked.
