That's kind of like asking what American Car brand is best. Everyone has their favorite. I have owned most of the major brands and they all have their good and bad points. Currently my favorite rig is my Traxxas 1/16 Revo VXL.

If you're new to hobby grade RC's I recommend Traxxas.
Good selection of vehicles to choose from, good customer service, parts are readily available at local hobby shops and online.
