Hay guys just picked up this old girl and wanted to ask sone questions?
1 what is this kit? And what plane is it modeled after?
2 she has some problems but I'm going to restore it a 100% like a brand new aircraft off the hobby shop
3 what is it worth now and estimated price after a 100% restore? It has nitro and electric set up for any user?.
4 i need to take it apart and inspect everything how should i take off the plastic rap should i reuse any of the rap or just go new? Not super experienced in raping just wood paneling? And the prices for that?

Hi there.
Not to sure on the technical help but your plane looks possibly like an old chilton aircraft or actually a seagull sparrow hawk

The plastic wrap is there for a reason.. it provides a secure covering and it's very low weight. If you start adding a wood covering you are going to add a substantial amount of weight. If you want it just for show, that's fine, if you want it to fly the final weight is a serious consideration.
