Hi there
Hopefully someone here can help me ?
I just got my first nirto rc car and have been trying to get it running the past few days. Everything was working fine, got the engine running and started fine tuning it, but last night i accidentally left the reciever switch on with batteries still in it. I got up today to find the both steering and throttle servos not responding to the transmitter at all . I changed the batteries and still nothing :(.

Could leaving it on all night have messed up the reciever or crystal?
Any ideas on how i could fix this?

Any help at all would be much appreciated:)

What radio and Rx do you have. If it's a 2.4, it might need to be rebound. Try replacing the batteries for the receiver and the Radio.
Make sure they are brand new, and not laying loose in a drawer.

I found the problem :)
There was alot of rusty stuff where the batteries go in. Just cleaned it off and put in brand new batteries and its going again

(First and last time i use cheapo batteries !)

Thanks for the help anyway Rolex
:)

You should start thinking about picking up a rechargeable rx pack. In my experience, once that corrosion starts, it likes to come back in a hurry. The rx pack will make your servos perform way better as well. In the mean time, make sure the throttle return spring works properly in case you lose power.
