Anyone read the head-to-head Tmaxx/Savage article in RC Nitro yet? They say that the Savage doesn't have the top or bottom end that the T-maxx does due to the power to weight ratio. I was thinking of getting a Savage for the "brick shithouse" factor. In the vids I've seen, it looks way more durable than my Maxx. On the other hand, I've replaced most of the weak parts with stronger after market stuff anyways. Now, I think i may just put a TRX 2.5 in my Maxx when I roach the .15, and get a Nitro RS4 MT. What do you guys think?

Definately get the 2.5, you wont be disappointed:cheers:
The thing tunes great, runs smooth and screams like hell.

The article is in the April issue of Radio Control Nitro mag, which is published by RCCA.

In regards to the 2.5, hell yeah! I guess I gotta get out there and burn out my .15. I'd rather spend my cash on hop-ups for now, since I've got a good engine sitting here, but once i cook it look out. Now if only my bearings would get here, I think they're on a slow boat from the Orient or something.

Like I always say man the 2.5 throw down the stink like no SB I have ever seen. Its nasty.... If they would just start selling the damn things..X

mani can't wait till i get a 2.5 and a conversion kit for it :D
