So do you read subscribe to a certain RC mag just to read one section of it? RC Driver has come out with a Baja 5b panel that I can tell I'm going to be reading every month.

I subscribed initially to RC Driver and RC Car Action. I much prefer RC Driver. Based on comments from others here whose knowledge I respect, I went ahead and subscribed to XRC about a month ago as well. Oddly, when I subscribed it said my first issue would be the April one (??!?).

Doesn't help that even though my LHS carries XRC, they are always sold out of them.

I'm now sure how the subscription process works but this sounds about right, or at least for XRC. I know when we give subscriptions away here for XRC it normally takes 2-3 months before the winner starts seeing their first magazine.

As for the ones I like to read, Xtreme RC and RC Driver - I don't care for any of the others.

I REALLY like the articles and write-ups in XRC. IMO, they could lose the overabundance of skantly clad models though. Of course then it wouldn't be extreme I suppose. I dunno, just my personal preference. When I first got into this hobby it was all about me, but now that I have children I know that it will someday be a family affair and RCD is a much more family oriented publication.
