RC hovercraft

I saw this while browsing amainhobbies.

It's kinda expensive considering it looks like it cost $20 to make. But, the fan upgrade allows it to run "up to 45mph".

I have an RC hovercraft by Whitman called the Marauder that I got from my dad.

Thing is about 2' long and has to be 20+ years old. He probably ran the thing twice at most.

I need to find a box big enough and ebay the thing. I have no use for it.

I've always had a fascination with hovercrafts, but only see disposable toy grade ones on the store shelves. I think it would be fun to chase the neighborhood kids with one.

I wanna know How good the radio system is. A 3ch 2.4ghz for only 100 may be a good investment.

Wow, that is a cheap looking thing!

What price range are you thinking Rob? If SD doesn't want it first, I'd like to see if I can find the funding for it.
