Would this be a horrible mix? I know there are differences in oil mixtures and stuff. I have a lot of Curtis Youngblood Wildcat 30% that I use in my Raptor 90, but I just purchased a Losi XXL. The manual says I should run the Losi Nitrotane fuel for my engine warranty, but is this just marketing BS? Its kind of a pain to carry two kinds of fuel. What do you guys think?

if you want to run heli-fuel, run heli-fuel. I do in a TRX Revo and a T/Tiger EB4 S2. Heli-fuel generally normally has a little more oil and that is all good from the viewpoint of engine protection, but as to the warranty ? It is up to you to choose what fuel to use.

Personally I have never run a manufacturers fuel, recommended or not and I have yet to have problems in regards to warranty returns.

Under the Moss Magnuson act of 1975 no manufacturer can "force" you to use a certain brand of fuel, or oil for warranty purposes. It is simply against Federal law. Many car manufacturers have tried, and failed. Run whatever fuel you want.

oh, well i managed to find a gallon of the losi nitrotane at the hobby store :)

I ran Sidewinder's Koolpower 20% in my revo from the start and had no problems with it at all.
