Does anyone know if the same people that own RC Driver the same owners as MaxxTraxx? After going to their site (RC Driver) they have a forum link - takes you to MaxxTraxx.

MaxxTraxx makes you register just to view their site, so I don't know anything about their forum layout (i refuse to register just to view ANY site).

Maxxtraxx is owned by Ballistic Batteries. His name is Patrick, and he is from Phoenix, Arizona.

RC Driver is just using their forum for ease of use. Once they get bigger, and their website gets better, they will probably have their own forum.

I do not think there is any relationship betweent he owners. But, you never know these days.

I knew Ballistic Batteries owned MaxxTraxx, I just thought they where really growing if they now had their own magazine as well.

As RamTech hit on, MaxxTraxx was kind enough to allow us space on their message board. We also have a section on several other boards. We felt it was better to team up with existing boards rather than compete against them. In a few days we'll have links on our site to all the boards we've teamed up with so far.

Greg, I've sent you an PM regarding subscriptions.

Ummmm...WoodiE, would Gregv be the Greg V. I am thinking of? Affiliated with RC Driver and formerly affiliated with another large RC hobby magazine?

If it is indeed, the I extend a warm welcome to our little neck of the world.

Candyman,

Greg V is affiliated with RC Driver, however I don't know his past.

If you look at the thread that has to do with Flip Syde which is a cartoon that is in RC Driver. That is where the good folks from RC Driver made there first RCNT forum appearance.

They seem like cool guys and I really enjoy there Magazine. If it had a Pony of the Month spread I would need a lifetime subscription.

Mike maybe RCNT should start a pony magazine, call it "Ponies gone wild!"

As I thought. I just thought the name sounded familiar. I have read a lot of Greg's work over the past few years. It's good to see an industry presence and just another very knowlegeable hobbyist joining our ranks. Good to have you here.
