What does everyone do to display their RC's?

Do you have some nice shelf queens that you have out? How do you go about it?

I am at the stage now where I have a few "light runners" that I would like to keep clean in their down time. I have been covering them with microfiber cloth but there's a few that I want to display. However, I don't want them getting dusty.

I was thinking like miniature car ports, like a 1/10th portable shed/quick garage thing.

Or 1/10th clear bubbles like what the 1:1 world uses to store collector cars, if those things exist?

What are you using or if you have ideas feel free to share.

I made acrylic stands for most of mine, I like to keep them up off of their tires when not in use.

That looks great! And the stand is cool too!
I just cover them or leave them on a shelf. But you can buy large display cases specifically for them. Acrylic display boxes on aliexpress and temu.

I didn't think of checking there, thanks!

Wrapping up (10) vehicle wall mounts as we speak. I’ve been tied up with other, more pressing obligations, but should be back on them, and finished over the next couple days. I’ll share some photos then. 😜

Sweeeeeet!

I hear you on the more pressing projects. I've been trying to knock the honey do list down but magically four more things show up over night.

I just use whatever I can get my hands on. Used rc tires, containers, flower pots, you name, I've probably used it! It's not pretty, but it gets the job done.

That's usually all I do as well.

But I have one shelf queen that is completed and it would be nice to display it in a "classy" RC way.

I couple of jack stands in a clear bubble? Lol

Thanks for the responses everyone

Here's a link to a 1/10 scale car bubble that I found on amazon. Though I don't think its what your looking for "looks" wise because of the wrinkles, but maybe you could do something like steam/iron it too get rid of the wrinkles. Or you could go another route and get something like this 1/10 scale garage lift from RC4WD, but they are out of stock and cost as much as a rc car. I found these 4 post car lifts on ebay that you can buy for $65 each which could be cool. Or you could 3d print you out some if you have a 3d printer.

I have all my cars sitting on old tires when I'm not using them to preserve the tires on the cars. The only car that I don't run regularly is my Vendetta that I have sitting on a shelf just on the tires cuz it looks better. And those tires are super hard so the foams will probably not be damaged.

I use boxes from 1:1 car parts.
Cool looking ones or a box from a hop up company... Aux lights and Brembo currently holding a few. I also use spray can tops. Round , lightweight, availible in all colors and sizes! 😉🤣

Acrylic display cases, stands, boxes are all avail online like other ppl mentioned too.

I feel this

These are my shelf queens. Original JRX2 and JRXT. I've rebuilt them using new, or near new parts and new motors. They're displayed on our headboard, and my wife threatened to wear a crash helmet to bed in case they rolled off! :p

Those are beauties!

Like Luke66 and some of you other guys, I am using a combination of tires and whatever boxes (or thing) I have around that fit the chassis.

Since we moved I haven't done much down here besides add more crap.

Now that my garage is more than halfway completed I feel okay starting up another project. I'm going to be sorting and going through everything from our old house. I'll be building shelving and carving myself out a better space down here.

I have two nice desks that I used at our old house. I'm using a crappy folding table because I can't even access those desks (covered in stuff).

Once I have some things sorted and cleaned up, then I can establish my new spot.

I'm strongly leaning towards using those printed stands.

Still undecided on how to display the F100 where it's visible but dust won't get into every crack.

Ill have to look into those display cases you guys mentioned.
