Just got this engine. Is it normal for the piston to be so tight.Put it on my starter box and it wont even turn it.Any one got any ideas?

New Nova engines are tight as hell!!! Heat the block with a hair dryer for a few minutes before you start it up. My Sirio is a startbox killer! Also you might try cracking the glow plug or losening it a little to start it and once going tighten it down real quick. After a hald gallon or so they start to loosen up a little lmao!

yes they are very tight.when i got mine even my starter box had a problem turning it over.but after a few runs it will take right off..

oh i have the ofna true start.IMO its the best box you can buy..

They are very tight, try to crack the plug a hair and see what happens. Do you have a good box? I have the Ofna true start and it rocks.

I have the ofna 10250 box. Do you no were i can get a new wheel for this box

TowerHobbies has them :)

Just look up the box number and on the bottom of the page the wheel should be listed.

The troubles you are having now are going to be the very reason you love that mill soooooo much when all is said and done ;)

Got it going today started the breakin progress. This mill looks like its going to be good. Thanks for all the help
