Well, the inevitable happened. RB engine is so fun I kept practicing wheelies and trying to hold them, and the thing flipped one too many times and split part of the head. I checked the RB website and all they list are the engines themselves, plus the set up manuals, but nowhere could I find replacement parts. Any help on how to get an original head for my RB TM 323?

You can use cooling head from Sirio .23. I bought a Nova Sirio .23 cooling head and it fit right in to the TM323.

Great info guys. If I cannot get a direct replacement (vbagnon) I'll try plan "B". :shhh:

Get some zipties on the new one. They save the heads quit a bit.

Alright here we go....Does this have a two piece button/head? If it does your in luck! Any NovaRossi/RB Concept head will fit. They all use the same bolt pattern. I've got a guy that has a few P5x heads for cheap. I'll pm you his email addy and he'll hook you up. If you don't go with his at least you got the info.

Well vb, you got me there. I do not know what a "two piece button head" is, or how to identify one. All I know is that this head does not use a turbo plug, instead it uses the stock Revo Traxxas plug. (Got your PM, thanks)

As to the zip tie trick on the head, did that. I really smacked hard on this thing and the stress of a hot alum head hitting the tar a few times literally cracked the fins down about 4 layers. They did not break off completely, but they are pretty crushed. I stopped at Ultimate Hobbies today and they are checking on a replacement under warranty for me as the engine is only about 1 month old.

a 2 piece head is kinda simple. The place where the glow plug goes in is seperate from the cooling head. so basically you have the block, button (glow plug) then the cooling head. Hope that helps.

OK, got it. Never seen one like that. This one is one piece. (or so it appears)
