any of you maked ramps for your savages?
can you post some pics of them.
every time i make one my savage brakes it so i need to see how some of you guys make them so i can make it really strong.

thanks.

Do you have any pics of your ramps mabe we can see what could be different and it also could be how you are controlling it in the air to much throttle could be making you land on your lid or could be your shock setup there are so many variables give some more info what happens when you jump it :) good luck

you making them out of balsa wood or what?? lol.. Just messin with ya. Most my ramps are made of dirt, but I do have one of them plastic ones I bought at walmart for like $20. Works pretty good. To raise it I just put a 2x4 under it..

i have a plastic ramp but it was to small a put some wood under the front but didn't work to good.
i have seen some on over sites.
i will ask my dad to help me.
but have you got any good ideas on how to make it

i'm with RP...i just toss a board (plywood or sheetrock) over a milk crate or similar box type thing. most building i've done is to drill out two holes in the corners of the board so i can pass thru 2 stakes thru it to keep it from shifting. my ramps are more for distance than jump hight

Ok here is my collection

I left a lip between the 2x4 and the plywood, don't do this, if you hit the edge the A-arm will dig in and F stuff up big time
other than that don't make one too skinny

Skip... you need therapy!!! Those are nuts! But they make for some sweet footage!

I made mine out of 2 foot by 4 foot 1/4 inch plywood and put hinges on them so I could fold them and put them in the back of my car. I only take them out when I'm not alone for vids... well, sometimes when I'm alone.

This is my second attempt:

You can see my first attempt acting as a table top on the garbage cans in the backdrop.

These are my second attempt and current. They are held by rope, so I can adjust the angle however I want. There are hinges at the peaks of the ramps so they fold up for easy carrying and permanent storage in my Gmarquee. They are a bit small and grainy as I pulled them out of a vid...

my friends just take some wood and prop it against something haha. we tried jumping my 99 silverado z71 4x4 with my friends e-maxx...just jumping the bed(left to right) and he smashed into the bed haha.

ill probalby make some like olds97....the hinged one with the chain/rope to adjust it...seems easy. but me and my friend are making a track out of gravel/dirt in his backyard so we'll see than.

i have built the frame. it's like the ramp that skip posted a pic of but smaller. i would post a pic but i need to put the camera soft ware on to my computer.
