What do you mean? There is not really a specific way to jump, some say go balls to the wall, but thats not the best way to do it. The way I learned was to take a jump slowly at first to see how your truck reacts, and then get going faster and faster.

You want to hit a jump perpinductular (sp?) like this -|. While in the air you can controll the nose of your truck by pressing the gas or hitting the break.

Is this what you meant?

will i like just broke my dog bone and the joint that it goes in and i wasent really going full speed

what kind of truck do you have? Sometimes they just hit the wrong way and snap. I had an rc10gt and broke things all the time. Stadium trucks aren't as strong as buggies or monster trucks. But in my opinion you'll be a better driver if you can controll your st truck, and when it comes time to upgrade to the next level you'll be that much better.

When your just learning your going to break all kinds of parts, and spend some money, but once you get the hang of driving you'll see that parts break less and you'll be having more fun! Take your time and master controlling your ride, It will pay off in the end!!!!!!!!

You may want to loosen your slipper a little bit. About the only way I could see an axle getting damaged during a jump is if your slipper isn't slipping upon impact like it's supposed to.

When you did the jump, was it running at a pretty high RPM when it landed? This could easily bust an axle.

I know when I had my xxx-nt (stadium truck), I was going through trans gears and spur gears left and right. It finally dawned on me that I was hitting the ground with the engine rev'ing. I was new to the whole RC thing and just didn't know any better. I loosened my slipper up a little bit and I wasn't replacing gears nearly as often.

yep, definetely loosen the slipper maybe 1/4 a turn so it can help absorb the impact, also, try not to land on throttle

i just learned how to control my car (rc10gt) on jumps it is doing good but the other day i snaped my rear shock tower.

if your rear arms over extend the dog bones will bind or over compress they will also bind then they will break this happen to me with my monster pirate although i was jumping 10 + feet at wot
