rampage truggy vid, crash curse and lough..lol

was out for a good long bash today. thats what i like about 5th scales. a bashing session with 2 rigs is about 5 hours. with little down time. just enough to smoke a cig and change radio.. turned my tt into a truggy with an old mt shell. it jumps better all covered up and looks down right meen as hell.. after 15 years i still can't get enough!!

it was just a stearing mount. i also hit that jump for a good hour and flipped it down the hill a few good times. keep in mind that rig ways 37lbs. when it hits an un-movable object(like the ground) at about 40mph, it comes out to almost 230lbs of force. after a few times doing that, parts may break. but there all inexpensive stuff. well worth it.

Damn man that thing kicks A$$! Get rid of that boggy clutch though and put the SS 8k on. That pipe sounds freakin' awesome. Wish I could run a Dom on my SS but I'd get neighbors with bleeding ears yelling at me. lol

Itsa, have you run a rear Dom with a silencer? How's the noise? If it's 'residential safe' then I might get one.

Also, I freakin' lol'd at the end You didn't hold back on the aw, poop XD

i wish it was the clutch..lol.. i do have an 8k spring in it, but i reversed the gears for top end wich gives me little low end torque. so you have an idea, becouse of the 4wd it has 4 gears coming off the motor wich really reduces your final drive, so i swapt them around and now my pinion is larger then my spur gear(31/29) wich accounts for the low end lag. but once the pipe comes on it simply rips. I'm also only running a stock 23cc mill. with a 28.5 headkit the lag will go away. and no. havent run a silencer, but the side dom is not as loud as an X-can. has more of a nitro sound. but i remember the rear dom on my 5b was way louder!!.

Yeah I saw a Baja with a rear dom at the beach once and it was so loud I almost couldn't get near it. In a neighborhood that's enough to get the cops called on me.
