i love rally. i also love the wrx. what i don't love is the fact that the prices are in pounds.:depress:
 
I watched a rally race the other night (or at least the highllights of it) on SPEED. The rally was being run in winter environment, and several of the cars ended up sliding off the course. A couple ended up in trees, ditches, and almost off a bridge or two. It was pretty cool.

I enjoy watching the driving and team work between driver and "navigator".
 
i hate the fact of it not being in us curency as well but i dont think thats gonna stop me i want one of the team coats and that ink pin the rc would be great but not sure if i could get that much together
please keep the responses coming i enjoy hearing what other peeps have to say bout rally waitin till the next round to hit speed channel think its tomm night if not next thur for sure:banana: :bow:
 
I'm with Sky. Rally has to be the most demanding racing i've ever seen. These guys must have balls of steel to drive... no,race in some of these environments. I've seen many crazy crashes. I have also seen the "teamwork" break down on many occasions when the driver thinks the co-pilot has made a mistake and caused him to wipe out. Hey, Runner, check this out....

I just want to be able to decipher what the passenger is reciting in the race. Some of it is common sense while some of it makes no sense to me.

Some of the best videos out there are of Rally races! And you have to give the sport credit for being able to smash through a fence, kill a dog and land in someones living room and it is just accepted as OK! LOL!
 
Ever played Colin McCrae Rally 2.0? It explains what the navigator is talking about in the booklet. Mostly to do with the severity of turns, what awaits after a turn, what gear the driver should be in etc.
 
well if playing colin mcrae rally 2.0 long time ago and if the co driver notes mean the same in the game as they do in the real thing when they say any number 1-6 it means that is the gear they should be in going around the corner. all of the higer numbers should mean to take the turn at ie: 50 mph/kmh but dont quote me on that. i have always thought it wouldbe sweet to run rally. its the most demanding auto racing out there
