Kind of a rant again people I would like to throat punch. Down Rodeo came on the gas stations radio when I was fueling up and I heard a group of high schoolers talking poop, saying "those guys suck".

A big F. U. to them kids, Rage DOES NOT SUCK! Rage against the machine was one of the most vocally educated and informative groups ever let alone of their time! Aside from that, they plain straight the hell up ALWAYS kicked ass!

I know theres plenty of dudes here that fully comply that RAGE is forever the shiz! Heres a nice reminder.......


Down Rodeo for yall, take a break, crank it up and remember them how they were in their prime.

Most of the time the little punks can't even pull off some of the riffs that band plays. I honestly think when they do that, it's because they have found a new band that they think is fly (there's an old term) and nothing can beat it. I know exactly what ya mean man.
 
Rage FTW fkin music these days suks bad like last 8years or so has just been down right poop I'm ashamed and the poop on the radio god help me i thnk I'm gona kill someone i work with this girl shes like 24 a zepplin song came on and she changed the station and some f in brittny spears song was. On changed it back to zepplin and began to lecture her i was like you dont know who the fck led zepplin is whats wrong with you pink floyd,doors,skynard,mettalica,gnr,megadeath,pantera,pearl jam,zombie and on and on she didnt know any of them lol then she called me Old I'm 31 bitch lol i think the song was kashmir and she was like is that diddy lol what happened to the music?:angry:
 
Rage kicks ass!! I have been listening to them since Bombtrack first came out, and calm like a bomb is one of my favorite Rage tracks.

Rage is my fav band. they rock!!! i want them to tour again so bad. i was on vacation last year when they were at alpine valley near milwaukee. i was so pissed off. renagades of funk is my fav song of theirs. if you want to listen to a great rock station 94.1 wjjo out of madison wi is the best. you can stream off of their website. they dont play alot of female pee pee rock. lol only the best!!! rage, pantara, dusturbed, korn, lamb of god.
 
Agreed, Rage is awesome! Kids these days can't see past Flo Rida, Lady Gaga, and what is the latest on TMZ.
 
its funny, i kinda see both sides of the music since i listen to a variety of music
i like listening to music with meaning behind it, and stuff like that by myself or when I'm just hanging out. when i listen to music that makes no sense I'm usually just messing around and having fun and not really paying attention to the lyrics
 
i never really got into them, they just really never appealed to me. not putin em down, ,just never got into em.
 
Well, before I got married and had kids, my goal was to make it in the music biz. I played bass for all types and for that, I like almost all types, even the latest stuff. But damn, someone thinks Rage or even Zep as crap!!! WTF? Metal head Kids needs some Old Rock culture man.

Also, to add to my pref. My Collection goes from old Gospel all the way to stuff like "Five Finger Death Punch" in my MP3 player. lol
 
I really like Rage....when I was in high school the self titled album was still fairly new and I remember skipping school and driveing by play Killing In the Name Of.....the end part super loud.... "**** you I won't do what you tell me!" Rage was a very political figure in the arena of music. They have have been arrested multiple times for civil disobedience. Another group that in that kinda follows in those footsteps is System of a Down. But Rage kicks ass!
 
I never really cared for Rage, but I'm not going to put them down. I have a really eclectic taste in music, everything from ABBA to ZZ Top, so I can't really fault someone else's listening habits. The only music I really think that I really, really dislike is Gangsta Rap. Put all the wannabes in the slam and let them be somebody's "girlfriend' for a while. Alpine, do you want to do the cavity search?
 
Nope, thats why I'm not a deputy. We dont have to do all that crap. We drop them off to get it done.
 
Was their first album the one with a Monk set on fire? If so, I still have that some where in my house. I know it's all been downloaded on my Zune. Loved that one. Though I am sure there are a lot of Rage fans not too fond of Audio Slave, I really liked it when the band ( minus the original Rage, singer rumored gone Muslim ) went with a different feel yet still Rage sounding.
