I have this Radio Shack BMW, obviously it is not a top-of-the-line rig, what to do with it?

do you have old radio ? do you have a battery?
I've switch a few rs rc toys. some where easy and some took alot of special parts ie servo holder.motor plates so on. if you want it all O then go looking 4 stuff u need.the Golden arrow my 1st

If it was me, Id get an hpi e10, traxxas 1/16, or a tamiya. All those cars are easy to mod and stretch.

Id find the closest chassis that fits width wise and the extend the wheel base. I would use magnets also to hold on the body.

But thats just me.

I am not sure what I want to do with it, it is a hard body so I kinda tinkered with the thought of putting it on a good chassis. It has the radio. It uses regular old batteries and all of the connection's points are good and clean. The trunk opens and there is a place to plug it in if a guy wanted to run nickel-cadmium batteries.

dont think any 1/16 scale chassis will work they will be way to Big..not sure your gonna be able to convert that to a hobby grade rc. were your components are all a form of plug n play(modular).id bet it has a 5 wire servo and a all in 1 board. were we use 3 wire plug controlled by a radio and esc powers all give some measurements. Wheel base.n width

ya, maybe I will power it up and if it works give it to the boy across the street.

Actually it’s the Audi Quattro. I hne years ago. It’s not fast, but, if you like challenging projects convert it to hobby grade electronics. Now that
Now that is some funny stuff right there - where did I come up with a BMW, what a brain fart!
