RC Driving Style
okay ppl. i was just out driving my savage a little bit ago. my reciver antenna is only like 4 inches at this point. and it has dents, cuts, etc. long story short: all messed up.It was kinda driving by its self. i checked my radio batterys and they were low. so i change them, go out and its still doing it. it makes a sound like when its out of gas kind of. but it like drives by its self. i have no control over it. could this be a carb issue or a radio/reciver problem? i already ordered a new reciver. but i just wanna know cuz were having a gargage sale and i was just gonna drive my savage along. ac48 i pmed you about this issue. so either way youll be notified. so what do you guys think?

and when i get 4-6 feet away the throttle/brake servo starts twitching.

I Though Mabe That Might Help :)

Thanks PPL

MARK

Sounds like a reciever issue to me.....and you didn't have to buy a whole new reciever....you could've had the lhs solder u on a new antenna wire....

4 real a new antenna wire?!?!? omg they were saying i need a whole new reciver!!! I was Asking About Just Getting A Wire Too! That Sucks. W/e Still Prolly Better Than My Other One. LOL

Well solder on a peice of wire that is the same length as the original, and if it works you will have a fixed reciver and you spent like $2 for wire. and you will have 2 recivers.
Regardless if the reciver is in perfect condition a 4in anntena wire will kill its range and cause a whole list of problems

okay actually it will cost no money. my dad has a bunch of wire (Owns an electrical company). I'm Sure We Can Find Something That'll Work. And I Have A Sodering Gun Too. So You Guys Think Its The Reciver/Radio Problems?

I'm Pretty Sure It Is My Self. But I Just Wanna Make Sure. That Would Be Great If Its The Radio/Reciver Problem Because...I Ordered A New Antenna For My Futaba TF-4 Radio, Got a New 4 Channel Futaba Reciver, And An Ofna Fail Safe.

ITS DEFATLY THE RECIVER!!! I JUST POINT THE TRANSMITTER IN ANOTHER DIRRECTION AND IT TWITCHES HARDCORE. good thing i ordered a new one. thanks for the help ppl! :)

LOL, ya, I've had like 4 new antenna wires soldered on in the past. Lol, I just keep rippin them out, or beein stupid and cut them...

Is There N e Way That It Could Be N e thing Else Though?

I Guess Thats What Tells It To Move...

its gotten soo bad now that when i move the radio to the left and right the throttle servo pulls the carb in and out! i need a new reciver hardcore!

If your anntenna is only 4in that is your problem, Are both servos twitching if they are than it is yout RX, But gettin a new anntena or RX should be done before you go drive.

Whats RX?

Reciver?

my New Reciver Might Be Here The UPS Dude Is Here. Ill BRB Gonna Go Check

Its Not Here Today But I Tracked It And It Said Its In Commerce City, co Today So it Should Be here 2morro!
