Hey gang. I've been a little less active on the forums lately because I've been busy getting my feet wet doing some racing this season. Saturday there was a really nice turnout at area52rc (huge 200x300' track, anyone in the WA area should come check it out: www.area52rc.com).

A couple of photographers were there and got some great pics: http://picasaweb.google.com/phaqgm/Area5252309#

I did pretty well considering I'm still a noob. I was holding 3rd until about 15 minutes into the 30-min A-main when my rear arm mount plate decided to stay behind after landing off the triple. :( DNF'd. At least I managed to find my hinge pins.

Some pics of my rc8 in action:

No picking on my 5-min all-black ghetto ninja paintjob Lessen/NCNitro, it's supposed to be ugly. It gets dirty ya know.

Nothin' wrong with simple race paint. Believe me, many a times I want to do the same thing just to get something going. Good pics though! I miss shooting r/c's. I find shooting r/c races to be quite enjoyable.

Nice pictures! And I agree with the simple paint. I find myself afraid to get mine dirty if I have it looking all nice, so I may need to paint an all black body :P It's not like a pretty body is going to win the race anyway.
