Yup just $5 to register with FFA for the basic license. 400ft and under ans line of sight. Not around airports and other places explained on their website.
 
That is insane...a coworker and I were looking at the Spark just yesterday online. He bought the Mavick and I'm thinking about going with a Spark. Both will be fun to fly.
 
It's a great starter drone with a lot of features! Price and experience dictated why I chose the Spark over the Mavic pro. Either was you can't go wrong!
