Employee race up date.... let's just say they are all convinced to get a Savage 25 or SS... even a 21....

the T-MAXX kept over heating with the small 2.5 off road and can not deliever power in the field, but a great beginners truck okay for BMX Track.. nice on - road truck for that motor..

Terra Crusher with the Fantom 15......:nope: owner felt stupid for getting one

Mad force... I like the truck.. thinking about getting one.. but just couldn't handle BMX track as well

Dirt Demon did pretty good... comes with a 26...

Thunder Quake..... that truck is a complete waste of money

Everyone was impressed with the Savage 25... and was convince this was the truck....

And even more convince when they saw my Savage and it's possiblities...

I totally bashed my truck hard, took higher flights, tough landings, mad torque

I am really convince that HPI Savages are the best outta the box and happy that I purchased one (even though it was used)

Ya got to love the Savage. Wish it was out when I picked up my Maxx.. but then again I now have both.

My Maxx is doing alot of sitting know. I have about $2300 into it in total (basically almost bullet proof) and it just sits there. I have had it where my Savage is laid up for a bit and I don't even want to start the Maxx. Guess I will give it to my son. I like the power of the 21s and you don't have to upgrade the whole powertrain to put a different engine in. People say well the Maxx has reverse I say big deal as it cost me $20 to remove the reverse from my Maxx. Try putting a 21 in to a Maxx see how much it's going to cost you in the long run. LONG LIVE THE SAVAGE :bow:

Glad to hear you had great reviews at the track TRD........I was going to get a T/Maxx at first when I started looking around at nitro trucks, but when my lhs told me about the Savage 25, he pretty much closed the deal, glad I spent the extra money for it! It has been a great deal of fun and is like a Timex, takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.........:winnar:

It is very good to hear praise about the savage as I still have not gotten to bash with mine. I went to start mine up yesterday and damnit it the Roto start wouldn't turn at all. Well let me say there was noise but no gears were moving at all. After tearing it totally apart the motor is totally broken inside of it. I should be getting a new one soon. I plan to bash it all day tomorrow. It's supposed to be sunny. God I hope so.

i have a heavily modded .21 maxx (OS .21 RG, RPM everything and aluminum were it counts)....and even though its pretty much bulletproof and is faster than my friends savage .25 off line and up top, when he bashes with me at the BMX track i have nothing but respect for the savage....out of the box definatly number one MT on the market...and there is a growing aftermarket for them also...i see him take bad landings and crashes that would have ended my day back when the maxx was stock. actualy if it wasn't for me finding my new addiction..yah i jsut got an 1/8 buggy (holy crap this thing over shoots every jump at the bmx track with only like 10 feet of gas b4 the jump, and keeps on rippin!!)..i would be gettin an savage SS now.

LOL, let us know how the bash sesion goes TRD, I'm sure you are going to have a great time tomorrow, I know I was getting over 4 - 5 foot air off a small dirt pile some of the locals use for thier dirt bikes and 4 wheelers............I really need to get a digital video camera

well my friend got a Savage 25 for $409.. and is going to sell his T-Maxx... for me I am still debating on getting a Mad Force or the Savage 25 and keeping this one all original...
