So I was at the hobby shop shooting the breezy yesterday when I mentioned that I was thinking about geting a picco. This guy that I always have help me said he had a connect to get the rb 523 i belive it is for 200 straight up. So I'm goin to buy it and can't wait but what kind of power can I expect from this sucker. I'm excited to finnaly be able to drive my racer rig. How is tuning these motor too I have heard that they are a little tricky. I decided to pick it up though because it came with the tuned pipe(which will only be on for break in then I'm going side pipe with a JP-3) and it comes with the mount. Thanks for your time.

i have had nothing but good dealings with the 523 i love that thing.
tekno has a throttle mount, and you can get a different tank (i run the one for the mbx5-t) and move it farther forward for better balance. do you have the 2.5 or the 3.3? if you have the 2.5 get the tekno ext rear arms. they will make the truck wheelbase about the same length as the 3.3

I LOVE my 523.......and the pipe that comes with is not too bad.
I am just getting it out of break in...and it starting to wake up ....crazy power for the weight.....
Enjoy.....it is a bugger to break in ....very tight...you will need the ez start as I don't think you will be able to pull start it thru break in....I was not successful....so I went to the EZ....I love and hate that thing as now it has snapped off yet another wiring clip....damn thing....

Beason ya, your truck was my isperation lol. I saw it and was like damn i got to make me one of those, serriously too, and espically after I saw all the big blocks over at MVB. I'm going to go back to the hobby shop tomarrow and buy the thing. I might not go side pipe right away though, because they just got in the new traxxas driveshafts and there really sick lookin. I have the tekno stuff and mounted it up so I could put the differnt tank on, but I like my stocker for what I do. I'm just so scratchy I can't wait to get my hands on my first big block. I'm also goin to pick up the robinson hard gears to. I'm just goin to stick whith stock teeth too, fits my driving style. I want to run my trinity on it first too and see what happens there.
Talon I totally know what you mean by the pull start thing. I have scars on my right hand from trying to break in that damn os.(which i sent back to tower today and told them to rebuild the thing).
