RC Driving Style
I was talking to J.C. at Prospeed on sunday and he mentioned that there is a simulation game to help new drivers get used to handeling r/c cars, much like the r/c helicopter simulators.

My wife has been getting used to running my FW-04 and it's an ok car for the beginner but she really wants an NTC3. I would gladly let her use mine but I cringe at that very thought since this car is my backup racer now and I don't want her to smash it up while learning.I know that she can be really competative and has the potential. She's also scared because I WILL yell at her while trying to teach her from the get go. I would like to at least know that she can keep from getting into too much trouble while learning.

Can any of you recomend one or at least tell me of one?

RealRace G2 is the name of the sim. It's from KnifeEdge, the same ones that make the flight sim for R/C planes. My neighbor got the sim for his kid. It's pretty good. Check out the web site. I don't have the link available right now, it's in the other computer. Probably KnifeEdge.com, or just do a search on it. It also comes with the controller.

Thanks for the quick reply, Rolex. I looked at it and you know what?, that would really pass the time when it's too cold to run here in NYC. I'll probably get Real Race G2 as well as an electric to keep running during the winter.

Thats awsome I didn't know they had that for cars. I knew about the plane sim, but not about the car.

I've had their RealFlight G2 plane and heli sim for about 3 years, and it's intense. Apparently in RealRace G2 you can do some of the same things. Build your own tracks, and modify the cars and engines. (or motors and battery packs.
You also have the trackside view, driver behind car or driver in car.

ok i want it...what scotty wants he gets....I'm going to get the tow rope and get me a atm machine tonite....almost like the lottery
