Came into some forced overtime $$ and wanted to buy my self something. Been leaning heavily towards the qx350. Any other quad around $500 that can carry a go pro?

That's the only one that I know of, Alpine. Never had a problem with my mQX and my nanoQX didn't want to bind with my DX7, but works fine with my DX6s. If you get one, make sure that your lhs can help you get your quad and TX to bind.

I'd go with the RTF setup with radio and everything. My first air based RC besides the MCX i broke about 6 months or so ago.

Now i'm looking into the DJI FC40. Same price, but i feel might be a more established company in the drone department. Plus it comes setup with a FPV already installed.

I seriously think you should get the Spektrum DX7 radio and not the one that comes with it. That way you have no limits on any future air upgrades, plus you have the best out there.

Go with that 'Breast Augmentation" method and spend a little more up front. :D

The more I'm reading, the more heavily I am leaning towards the DJI Phantom fc40. It just seems to be a better quad.

Make sure you get a good computer radio with either one. It will make flying them a LOT easier.

New radio and better fpv cam setup would come later. If i get it, id use stock stuff just to learn how to fly and see if i even enjoy it before dumping more money than necessary.
