Can someone recommend a different pipe (or some other means) to QUIET DOWN the Savage-25 motor. I'm not concerned with loss of power I just want to make it as quiet as possible due to "neighbor conflicts."

I have 2 savages. one has the original .25 motor and I put on the THS racing pipe. What a difference. Quiet, Easty to Tune and a power increase. I have recommended the pipe to every stock pipe holder I see. Those that have made the jump experience the same benefits. The maker is at {http://www.tonyshobbyshop.com} . If you combine the HPI Racing high-input air filter with this, it makes it even eaiser to tune and perform better.

Good luck and enjoy.

ths is a quiet pipe and also makes good power i have to and love them, the hpi ribbed pipe is loud as hell steer far from that one, my neighbors hate me too....even with the ths pipe

I use an XTM Tmaxx 21 conversion pipe, and it's relativly cheap. It's way quiter than the stock pipe. I couldn't stand driving the damn truck with the stock composite pipe. It would have to be 50 yards away for me to not be annoyed.

Looks like XTM makes one specifically for the savage XTM Savage Pipe

This is the one that came on my maxx 21 conversion that I'm using instead 21Conversion Pipe Except with this one, I used the stock header and zipties intstead of the springs.

Hmm, the XTM looks like the THS. I wonder if they're the same?

At the moment I'm using the pipe that comes with the Truckzilla kit, and it's even louder than the lawn mower. Has anyone ever used the CVEC? I'm considering a CVEC because I'm happy with the CVEC on the Nitro MT.
