Just finished putting my new mill in the GT2 and while I had it all torn down, I decided to give everything a once over. I noticed inside the receiver box I had about 6 inches of antenna wire coiled everywhere in the box. Would it be better to leave it coiled in the box, or pull the full length through the tube? If I pull it all out as far as it can go, I'll have about 6-7 inches hanging out of the antenna tube and I'm afraid it'll tangle in the rear drive shaft or even the suspension.

Thanks

I normaly run my antena all the way out and put one of those little caps on top of the atena the just use a little black electrical tape the excess length to the atena tube so it dosen't get tangled up...

Ideally the antenna wire shouldnt come in contact with itself. It apparently cuts down radio range.
I can't confirm or deny this because I always run mine up, and coil it around the tube.

I've always wrapped mine around the tube and put a piece of fuel tubing on to hold it in place
now i have a spektrum and dont have that problem anymore :D

Thanks guys, that's exactly what i was thinking. Maybe that's why I had that runaway issue a few weeks ago. I have a small piece of unused fuel tube that i'll split and use to keep the wire in place on the tube.
