Quick question

Okay so we got some dirt paws for the evader but we keep going through idler gears so I know we need to loosen the slipper but how much.

i tighten mine all the way, then turn it back 1/4-1/2 of a turn. This works very well for me.

Is that for you t-maxx or actually a nitro evader.

That method works good as a base line for most vehicles actually. Just don't over loosen or you will melt the spur.
