Another quick question...why would you buy something and not know what it is? Anyone would list the make and model of something they are selling.
What did you pay for it?
No offense but that thing looks disgusting! I'd definetly clean it starting with the air filter and gas tank thoroughly! And what Rolex said why but something if you don't know what it is.
Ok yes it's dirty I shouldn't buy something if i don't know what it is. But can we please get back on topic. Not trying to be rude. Just wanna know what it is. It looks like a duratrax rave st, but want opinions.
Hi,
As already eloquently stated, Yank that nasty air filter off, and toss it...
& please replace it with a new one.
Suggest buying some Nitro Cleaner and get her cleaned up.
Who knows, there could be a gem hiding 'neath all that grime.
It's a mystery buggy! Doesn't look like anything I've seen. I thought the bottom arms looked like XTM but the radio tray and battery box don't look like XTM and neither do the top arms.
Seems to me its actually a Truggy due to ride height and tire size. Not sure what brand but i would try to contact the seller and ask him or her what it is. What markings are on the engine? Top of cooling head and or on the side of the block should be stamped or labled. If its the stock engine it would help to narrow down the model.

Also look at the servos for a name brand or number. If they are stock it will also help to figure out the brand or model of truggy/buggy it is.

One more thing also look for a name on the radio or receiver. Most manufacturers label the top of the receivers and or radio that comes with the RC.
Good call!! I think you win first prize (but it's probably nothing)! Looks like Ebay has 300+ parts available for it. At least he can get parts for it.
