Is there any special "trick" to make getting the antenna wire through the plastic antenna tube easier?

I tried putting mine in last night, but it would bind up quite a bit causing me to not be able to get it in fully. I ended up just getting my fingers damp and touching them to a bar of soap to get a tiny bit of soap on them and ran that down the length of the antenna wire. It threaded through easily after that.

Any other tips for the future?

Use talcum powder (AKA baby powder). Put some on your hand and grab the antenna and let it slide through your hand while it gets powder on it. It should make it slide in easier. You can also try the Windex trick, but I'm not sure how it goes.

spray windex on the wire and slide your hand through the wire so the wire is all wet with windex then just slide it works great

Windex worked great for me too. I could see the powder working well too.

lol this may sound weird or whatever but I used KY lube. It worked good :)

Why doesn't it surprise me that this comment came from you? :hehe:

Ah, that's right, you're almost married, you might want to conserve that stuff for the lonely years after marriage. :D

I've used babypowder, graphite powder(its like pinceil lead ground up?) and silicone spray works good, and from what I've read here tonight sounds like windex does good also.

Windex, wd-40, grease, hand soap, dish soap, KY(apparently...)and...spit works good too.:whhooo:

A tip that is being left out is to make sure the tube is new before hand (it's worth the $1) and try and pull the kinks outa the wire as best possible. Twisting while threading never worked good for me.... Aside from that you have many choices of lube (even KY apparently)

Yeah these are all good suggestions. A tiny bit of hand soap did the trick well for mine!
