I have a OS 15cv with a short shaft for in my Rustler. If I get a NTC3, will the short shaft be the correct size for it? Will the rotary carb work in it? Does the clutch stuff come with it for a threaded crank?

Sorry for the newbie questions, but this will sway me one way or another on which car to get.

Thanks

You'll have to cut the shaft. If you're getting a kit, you'll have to get the one that comes with the clutch nut specifically for short shaft engines.

Also, you gotta think about your exhaust, whether it's side or rear exhaust.

The carb isn't a problem Both kits support both kinds.

The crank is already cut short for my Rustler, so that should fit.

Well it's a short shaft engine right? If you're trying drop a short shaft engine, the shaft has to but cut more to fit the clutch nut properly.

If you already cut the shaft, it will probably work. Might be be a little long, so you may have to cut a few milimeters off.

Yeah, its already cut. No big deal if it needs to be trimmed a little though.
