i have a .15 the only thing not 3.3 is frame i am putting the grey forward only trans. on it and the 3.3 half shaft hits on the frame. so my question is does any one now what i need as far as frame, frame rails is that all i need to put the extended frame on?i see the extended frame has a larger opening for the half shaft. can i still use my stock bodys with extended frame someone give me the low down please.... so i can oreder the parts.. thanks

You'll need the 4908 chassis, chassis braces, front driveshaft and the all the brake parts. Your bodies will look silly on it, but I'm sure you could make them work. Just pop the rear down where it usually goes and see what has to be trimmed to make the front work. Poke some new holes and check out your creation!:) You'll need a longer drag link, too(rod that goes from the servo horn to the bell crank).

i have the 3.3 brake set up as well as 3.3 half shafts parts ordered thanks matt!!

are all 3.3 extended? i want to use my same bodys just have the frame fit the half shaft...... dremal???

what I'm saying is i want the same length frame only the 3.3 half shaft will fit threw., so 4909 is for a 3.3 trans and 3.3 half shaft?

Don't be afraid of the dremel! I'm not sure of your problem, but it just sounds like your talking about the center axle hitting the main chassis plate.

I know on my revo when I wanted to run a BB flywheel/clutch/bell that I had, I had to move the trans forward about 1/4" which required some chassis grinding to get it to work.

All you basically have to do is mount the whole front end on the new chassis. You use all your parts. Bulkheads and diffs are all interchangeable on Maxx's. The original Maxx's came with shorter a arms and driveshafts. The 3.3 carriers and the 2.5 driveshafts don't work together, and vise versa.

olds thats my problem. i want the same length frame only cut already for the half shaft, for a 3.3. after i replace the frame everthing will be 3.3....
