if cracked tanks b4 and just used a plastic welder to temporarilly fix them but i wouldnt recommend it because it is a pressure fed system and if you dont get it perfect it will lean your motor out ALOT

getting the right parts instead of jimmy rigging them is always the safest bet

I was afraid you were going to say that. Guess I'm out of commission for a week then till i can get the new tank.
 
you can rig it but it depends on how long you want your engine to last
 
depending on how bad its broke you might try some two part epoxy, or maybe some shoe goo, other wise play it safe and get a new tank...
 
You can try JB Quick Weld. Make sure you clean it real well with denatured alcohol and then keep a close eye on it. If its leaking you will see it easily,since it's a pressure system. I've used this method at the track for a quick fix with great success. Good luck!
